Creativity welcomed!
We are looking for topics on Best Practices for an LMS, Moodle, Canvas, transition from one LMS to another, pedagogy, engaged learning, and EdTech for all levels of learners. If you know instructional design or best practices for teaching online, we would love to have you deliver a session. This conference is not just about Moodle, we want your best practices and technology and tips. We are especially looking for proposals on engaging students in these new times and active learning. We will have multiple tracks for all attendees. While we acknowledge the transformative impact that AI will have on education, we will be very selective on AI sessions. Here at Carroll, Rachel Martin has been focusing on AI and its impact to education and has a great base knowledge of it.
In addition to standard 45 minute sessions (yes, 45 not 50 minutes) we are looking for folks to lead some of the 3 hour hands on training sessions at the start of the moot. This is a great way to take a deep dive into learning and even work on your LMS site as the session progresses. The conference is July 17-19, 2024, all in person only. July 17th is a training day with two 3 hour sessions to choose from and the regular conference is all day on Thursday and half a day on Friday.
