Mike is currently the Instructional Manager for the Montana Digital Academy, Montana's state virtual school. Teaching Elementary and Middle school, technology directing, grant writing, presenting, and now managing instruction at a virtual school has given Mike a wide range of experiences in the educational field. Being able to teach and lead technology integration has brought a great pedagogic balance to Mike's facilitation/instruction. With degrees from Carroll College (Elementary Education), Boise State University (Educational Technology), and pursuing a Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Montana, Mike is well versed in both content and technology integration. Mike has been honored as an Outstanding Teacher by the Helena Education Foundation and winner of the ISTE "Making IT Happen” award. Mike is a NCCE Tech-Savvy Teacher in Residence and blogs regularly at the NCCE blog.

Josh Bragg

A Winston-Salem native, Josh knew from an early age that he wanted to teach. He was awarded the North Carolina Teaching Fellows scholarship and attended Appalachian State University where earned his BS in Chemistry (Secondary Education). He then went on to graduate school at Wake Forest University where he earned his MAEd. Josh has been teaching since 2006 at several high schools. He currently teaches AP Chemistry at the Career Center High School in Winston-Salem, NC. He’s had various roles with his schools’ Moodles over the years as a teacher, site and server administrator, and trainer. He is involved in the international Moodle community as a "Particularly Helpful Moodler" and release tester. Josh is a rabid Appalachian State football fan all while enjoying everything from singing to having an interest in football, science, technology, open source software, and politics. Oh yeah, and fire. He likes fire.

Michelle Moore’s long list of credentials includes 8 years with Remote Learner, where she served as Chief Learning Officer and Chief Evangelist. Michelle is a skilled presenter with multiple conference presentations under her belt, including ISTE. With her extensive knowledge about creating deep learning with Moodle-based lessons, a session with Michelle is a must for nascent Moodlers.

David Morrow

David is an Instructional Technology Resource Teacher with the Mobile County Public School System in southwest Alabama where, among other duties, he has been the de facto admin, trainer, and help desk for the district’s Moodle instances for eight years. For the thirteen years prior, he was a middle school science teacher - and still thinks learning should be a little messy. He is also showing a bit of promise as a potter.

Emma has been managing a Moodle site for about seven years and has recently expanded into the consulting field. She currently administers three Moodle implementations and provides support for two other companies. Emma is a MountainMoot veteran and offers consulting on Moodle implementations in business and education, so come see her in action! Emma is also the Secretary for the newly formed Moodle Users Association.

Floyd has more than 40 years of work experience that spans the fields of engineering, teaching and administration. Since 2003 his work has focused on educational technology and online learning in a variety of settings. Floyd’s background in technology and education enables him to address the full scope of online learning – from technical, pedagogical and assessment perspectives. Floyd organized and ran the Midwest Moodle Moot, a conference focused on the Moodle learning management system, for four years. He is a frequent presenter at Moodle Moots in the U.S.

Michael Spall, Senior Instructional Consultant at Idaho State University, is a Moodle Administrator and member of the Moodle Gradebook Working Group. His specialty in Moodle training is the gradebook and solving tricky problems. He has taught K-12 math and computers. He has attended every MountainMoot.

Randy Stamm, eLearning Coordinator, provides leadership and direction for web-based distance education efforts at Idaho State University (ISU). Since 1997, he has supported faculty with graphic design, instructional design, and web-based technology. He received an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership - Higher Education Administration, M.Ed. in Instructional Technology, a B.A. in Mass Communication, and A.A.S. in Graphic Design & Commercial Art. This is Randy's fourth year at the MountainMoot!

Randy Thornton is one of our favorite Moodlers in the Northwest. Having served as an Instructional Technologist for the University of Puget Sound from 2005-2009, Randy has recently been doing independent consulting work for various Moodle institutions, and has done work for such names as MoodleRooms and rSmart. Did we mention that Moodle.org named Randy a "Particularly Helpful Moodler" in 2013? Randy currently offers e-learning consulting as Randy Thornton Consulting and Fortech Solutions.
