The MountainMoot conference will be hosted in the friendly town of Helena Montana, on the campus of Carroll College at the brand new Corette Library/Simperman Learning Commons. We will have lots of social hours, informal gatherings, moot bucks and moot coin, gamification, prizes, and even swag to keep you engaged. This is NOT your typical conference. We cover everything from a ride to and from the airport to almost all of your food and drinks. We have created a community of folks from all over the United States and abroad with many returning year after year. This is now the premier Moot in the US and one of the longest running Moots in the entire world. our presenters and attendees are some of the most knowledgeable folk across the board of education, business and government. Everyone is doing some sort of training or education and an LMS facilitates that end. How to do it best, and get the most out of your LMS is what you will walk away with.
Although we focus on the use of an LMS and academic technology to improve teaching and learning, we know a great conference needs more than just great content. In addition to quality sessions by leading instructional designers, teachers, managers, and just all around great persons, we work hard to create a community that benefits our attendees long after the conference has closed. We have long been focusing on Moodle and that will continue, but we are also now looking at all LMS solutions and best practices around them. If you are a Canvas user or a D2L user or making a transition from one LMS to another, this conference will be extremely helpful for you.

| On-Campus Shared Lodging | $60 a night We have an option of staying on campus in a four room suite. Individual locked rooms (4) but in a shared suite with a shared living room, bathroom and small kitchen. Many attendees choose this route and great friendships have been made over the years. Includes a free hot breakfast in the campus dining hall each morning. (Wednesday- Friday). NOTE: Dorms will have no A/C this year - it will be HOT!
